Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’m Victoria and I’ve been taking photographs professionally since 2009. I have a very unsophisticated addiction to mochas and the garden is my happy place!
Having bounced around a bit, I now live and work 10 minutes from where I grew up in a sleepy village on the border of Cheshire & Wirral.
I photographed weddings for 11 years before the pandemic hit. We were in the process of demolishing our new house when - in true Grand Designs style - I found out I was pregnant with my first baby! Weddings were illegal and my priorities had well and truly shifted.
4 years, 3 lockdowns, 2 babies and 1 house later, I resurfaced and pivoted my photography business from weddings to lifestyle and family portraits. And now I get to capture modern day families on old school film and I consider that a real honour.
Yes, I did say film!
A blast from the past I know, but hear me out. I’ve shot both digital & film extensively and to my mind there is no question that medium format film makes more soulful photographs. Take a look at my 10 reasons why you want to be photographed on film.
I’m passionate about the positive and uplifting impact great photography can have on our lives if we give it centre stage in our homes. So I like to ensure that every client I work with has at least one piece of beautifully printed artwork as a keepsake from their experience.
I feel so strongly that our photographs are not meant to languish as digital dust on a cloud. They are meant to be artfully printed, seen, shared and loved!
PS - If you have a “healthy” obsession with photographing your child’s every move, I also share advice and fun prompts to help Mums and Dads document their little one’s childhood in an artful way in my online photography community for parents.
