Beach Family Photographs Captured on Film

As this post is published we’re enjoying a change of scene in Cornwall and looking forward to 10 days of slowing the pace in this happy place!

Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to coincide this annual holiday with a family photo shoot. This one was on the beach at Mawgan Porth where Lucy and Tom were holidaying with their two young children. The kids were in their element exploring the beach with sand between their toes and searching for stranded sea creatures in the rock pools. It was a pleasure to capture their excitement as they held up their hands to Mum or Dad and asked them to come and see their latest discovery.

My aim in all family portrait sessions is to record families at play in nature. Where better to do this than at the seaside? So many of our best family memories are made at the beach! This is where families play best together and capturing it all on film is a lovely experience for me, which results in a beautiful collection of photographs for my clients to remember that moment in their story.

As we move from Spring into Summer, we all look forward to making the most of the longer days and feeling the warmth of the sun on our skin. The great outdoors is calling us to get out and explore whilst the weather is fine.
