Ruby Wedding Family Portraits at Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons
A Ruby Wedding anniversary presents a gorgeous opportunity to capture some beautiful intergenerational photographs of your family exactly as you are in that moment.
Often it marks a first significant wedding anniversary as grandparents and as these photographs show, a family photography session is the perfect way to celebrate a long marriage that has been the foundation of an ever expanding family!
If you can do it at Le Manoir - Raymond Blanc’s michelin-starred restaurant and luxury hotel in the heart of Oxfordshire, then please, invite me along to document the moment! I have some experience… 😀
I photographed Liz and Alex’s wedding back in 2018 - 6 years and three children later, they got in touch to invite me to travel down to Oxfordshire and capture some family portraits for them as the whole family gathered to celebrate Alex’s parents 40th wedding anniversary. Of course, I didn’t hesitate!
This continuity - photographing couples as they begin their life together and meeting their families for the first time, then photographing their next chapter with their children and reconnecting with everyone again is one of my favourite things about being a photographer! Plus I know that Alex is a film enthusiast himself and creating portraits for clients who really appreciate analogue photography is a treat too.
Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is one of England's most cherished manor house hotels and it’s easy to see why! Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards and with an extensive herb and potager kitchen garden feeding the restaurant, the setting offers abundant opportunities for beautiful family portraits.
If you have a significant milestone or anniversary coming up in your family, an extended family portrait could be the perfect way to capture the moment!
